Back To Front Exteriors had worked well with Bereco before. The brief from the client was for well detailed and proportioned, energy-efficient timber windows and doors, which would be vital to the success and quality of the renovation.
As windows are the eyes of the house and such a key design feature, it was important to get them right. It would not have been possible to pull off a convincing transformation leaving the original windows or replacing like for like.
Bereco were chosen for their beautifully designed, high performance, low maintenance, timber windows and doors that have high quality and will last a lifetime. Bereco worked closely with the designers, Back To Front Exteriors, to ensure the best possible specification.
This Back to Front project was chosen to be featured as a case study for The Wood Window Alliance (WWA) and in advertorials in both Country Living and House Beautiful magazines.
Special Requirements
The windows and doors needed to be of traditional style but with modern efficiency, security and performance. The colour palette was of high importance to the client, Bereco utilised their expertise in dual colour finishing to match the clients modern rustic design scheme. Farrow & Ball Stone Blue & Cornforth White were chosen along with traditional hardware.
